The summer so far...

Not really summery, it is very nice and green around here, but the coldness and rain is getting a little too much!!  Still did the Gabriola Farmer's Market in the pouring rain though. Nothing will stop us artisans. Hope the weather turns nice though before fall comes!

Pier Gallery is turning into a bustling little place, not just the boaters come by, people in cars too!

Getting ready for a joint show with Mariko McCrae "Untold Tales from Land and Sea" August 18 Artworks. Ceramic sculptural vignettes of the 18th century Staffordshire inspired from my end, inspired by gulf island life. Drawing and painting too. No jewellery!

Juju show coming up speaking of jewellery...July 28 opening at Artworks 7-9.

Pier Gallery is up and running

We are open now for the season, Wednesday to Sunday, 11-5. It is a work in progress that looks really good already. 7 artists, and guest artists on the list to put some pieces in.

I am super excited tohave my new ceramic creations in there, vignettes of current day scenes in the context of late 18th century porcelain vignettes from Staffordshire. So far so good.

Lily's Valentine Art Sale

I will be making my debut with embroidery... hearts, hearts, more hearts, my dog, a unicorn; these are some of the themes. Oh, and flowers. Sweetness. Making some different silvery things too, inexpensive things....but look out for threaded napkins and little heart framed messages.
